Now generally available

Infor is pleased to announce the general availability of the latest release of Infor10 ERP Business (SyteLine). This highly anticipated Feature Pack provides great value by enriching this already robust solution. We have gathered input from you regarding the features you need to remain efficient and competitive and have put those requests and more into the application.

Listed below are some of the highlights for this release. For a complete listing of enhancements, please refer to the "What's New" document for ERP Business 8.03.00 located on the www.infor365.com website.

What's New in 8.03.00 - Highlights
New versions of SQL and Windows Server required	SQL 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2008 R2 are now required
Infor10 Workspace	Latest version 10.1 Embedded business intelligence (BI) When you run ERP Business in Infor10 Workspace, you can view business-critical metrics and reports in an adjacent pane while certain forms are displayed. Metrics are available when you display these SyteLine forms in Workspace: Customer Orders Quick Entry, Customers, Items, Job Orders, Purchase Orders Quick Entry, Projects, and Vendors.
Report Generation	ERP Business reports are now generated with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Reports created in previous SyteLine releases using Crystal Reports will still run, but all standard ERP Business reports now use SSRS.
Inventory and Distribution	Inventory movement transactions by container Customer and vendor consignments Dimensional inventory Manufacturer's part numbers and rankings by manufacturer Auto-vouchering of PO receipts
Lot and Serial Tracking	Back flushing of lot and serial numbers Assigning serial numbers by item or by configuration Pre-assigning lot and serial numbers Cradle to grave lot/serial traceability
Electronic Signatures	ERP Business now meets the electronic signature requirements based on Title 21 CFR Part 11 of the Code of Federal Regulations, which deals with the FDA guidelines on electronic signatures in the United States.
Mobile	We now provide additional mobile home pages intended for salespeople, executives, and financial controllers.
Customer Portal	The customer portal has been updated, and context apps are provided so that it can easily be customized.
Infor10 PLM Discrete (PLM8)	We have enhanced the integration to include a bulk import utility to import multiple current BOMs, with the ability to define the mapping between the PLM BOM XML and the ERP Business tables.
Customer Enhancement Requests	You asked - we listened! Over 20 new customer enhancements were added.

You can download this release at https://infor.subscribenet.com. Your system administrator should have a login and password to this system to download the software. If your administrator does not have a password, submit a general information request under the Incident menu on the www.infor365.com website.

Infor Maintenance Policy

In order for Infor to be more responsive to your needs regarding on-demand patches, we would like to remind you of our maintenance policy. Although you should consult the exact language of your contract, our current policy is to maintain the most current release and the immediately previous release.

We realize for some customers it is a costly endeavor to upgrade to the current version and is not something that can be accomplished without proper planning and budgeting. The upgrade requirements from one Infor10 ERP Business (SyteLine) version to another vary in difficulty and resources required. However, please remember that the further back you are from the most current version, the more likely it is that additional effort, resources, and training will be required to upgrade to the most current release.

Please consult the chart below which shows when on-demand patches will no longer be provided for previous versions of ERP Business. As with all Infor products--provided you have a valid support contract in place--you still will be able to receive support line assistance after Infor stops providing on-demand patches. You can also still access Infor365 to request information, use the Knowledge Base (KB) search to find answers, and talk to support representatives regarding your incidents for these versions.

Infor does maintain the capability to patch a version beyond these dates should an unknown defect be discovered that would create a "system down" situation.
