“What is happening at IBM?”

Her reply:

“It's what must happen at IBM”

As in two previous occasions during her IBM career, IBM must again transform itself as a company to enable differentiation. It has to provide a differentiated offering to existing IBM customers and partners - one built on value.

A new ‘go to market’ model

IBM has moved away from Geographic and Industry segmentations to re-organise by growth sector.

Heavy Clouds need optimising – an educational exploration into the new demands facing the ‘digital first’ business and the implications this has for the Cloud.

Chris explained that by 2011 the world had reached a point where data storage availability was such that half of all the digital data created could not be stored and that the challenge of data storage is only set to grow.
